Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Engraved Locket Necklace with Double Rolo Link Book Chain

A beautiful Victorian sterling silver locket necklace with an ornate oval pendant and a substantial double rolo link book chain. The locket features finely engraved floral and bird imagery at the center, surrounded by layered decorative borders, beadwork, and star-motif accents. The reverse opens to reveal its original pale pink photograph lining, which remains exceptionally well preserved.

The locket bail carries one hallmark, with four additional hallmarks visible on the reverse of the locket. The necklace measures approximately 21 cm when folded, or about 42 cm end-to-end, and has a total weight of 34.25 g.
