Antique Austro Hungarian Silver Gilt Enamel Turquoise & Garnet Convertible Brooch Pendant

A beautiful Austro-Hungarian silver-gilt convertible brooch and pendant, decorated with colorful enamel, turquoise cabochons, and garnets.

The design has a wonderfully ornate, crown-like silhouette, with scrolling metalwork, floral details, pale enamel accents, turquoise cabochons, and faceted deep red garnets. The pendant section can be flipped upward or downward.

Condition: Overall fair to good for its age. There is some loss of gilding on the front, reverse, and pendant section, revealing the silver-colored metal beneath and adding natural antique character. Otherwise, no significant issues are noted. There is no visible hallmark.
