Rare Vintage 1940s Unsigned Jelly Belly Butterfly Brooch Trembler Wings Book Piece Similar

A rare 1940s unsigned Jelly Belly butterfly brooch featuring beautifully carved translucent Lucite wings and a wonderfully engineered trembler wing mechanism, allowing both wings to gently vibrate with movement. This design is very similar to a book piece, making it especially desirable for collectors of early Jelly Belly jewelry.

Measures approximately 9 × 7.5 cm at its longest and widest points.

Very good vintage condition. The Lucite wings remain beautiful and clear, with light, even wear to the gold-tone finish consistent with age. There is minor enamel loss, but the overall presentation is excellent, and the trembler wing mechanism functions beautifully. A scarce and highly collectible example of early Jelly Belly design.
